Congratulations to Dan, who defended his Box League Division 1 men’s singles title this Spring, with a strong P8 W7 record in the top division. Dan and Ryan both completed all their eight matches, with Dan taking the head-to-head with Ryan 6-2, 6-7 (6-8), 6-2.
Third place was a case of why might have been. Guillaume had a perfect P5W5 record until injury curtailed his Box League season. Get better soon Guillaume.

Talking of perfect records, Arjun secured D2 by a distance thanks to his five wins and no defeats, keeping him well clear of second place Andy. Phil in third place might have got closer were it not for injury. Take care Phil.

Our D3 divisional champions were Miguel (3a), Michael D (undefeated in 3b) and Paul J (undefeated in 3c). Unfortunate scheduling denied the fans the top-of-the-table clash between Paul J and James B in D3c. Next time.
Alex won the Welsh/Walsh face off in D4 to secure the divisional title, thanks to a 4-6, 6-1, 6-2 win over Ben.
Scoring: our new granular scoring method offering possible ‘retired hurt’ and ‘match halved’ options worked well. This allows player who make the effort to organise and play a match the chance to earn a well earned point at least.
