2026 Team Registration

St Ann’s Tennis will submit a full list of eligible team players to BHPLTA before matches start in April. We would like all players registered by Wednesday 08 April. We will hold a team session on Saturday 11 April from 1pm. This will be an opportunity to play competitive doubles, test pairings, and introduce new players as we prepare for our opening fixtures. This session will be free for all registered Team St Ann’s players. Registration does not guarantee selection.

We will hold a team session on Saturday 11 April from 1pm. This will be an opportunity to play competitive doubles, test pairings, and introduce new players as we prepare for our opening fixtures. This session will be free for all registered Team St Ann’s players.

Reminder: you cannot play a competitive fixture for a private club (e.g. county league matches) and also play in the Parks League during the same season. This is a strict rule: the competition is not for private club players. You may play for a private club in winter, but you cannot compete for a private club at any time during the spring or summer and also play in the Parks League. These rules are carefully checked, and no warning will be given.

To quote Claire Anderson, no-one knows anything til April! That means that the captains will need a full and clear commitment from all team members before making specific team choices. St Ann’s will continue to look for player to strengthen our squad. D1 will have first choice, then D2 then D3. It will be our aim to fill every available fixture and not to concede matches unless there are exceptional circumstances.

Individual captains will have their specific goals and targets, but overall we want to you all play without pressure, to enjoy your tennis, and to play at active part in this amazing old tennis competition.
