We have several LTA Grade 5 tournaments, singles and doubles, on the schedule, plus a number of our own St Ann’s Tennis club tournaments.
LTA Grade 5 tournaments are nationally ranked tournamets aimed at ‘good club players’. They attract advanced players from all over the county and beyond, and they are usually popular with young county players looking for ranking points.
We have mens doubles, ladies doubles and mens singles and ladies singles tournaments on offer. Now, for the first time, we have an LTA Grade 5 Mixed Doubles tournament set for Saturday 04 April. The date for this competition, on the eve of the 2026 Parks League season, suggests we’ll get a decent turn out of local double players.
St Ann’s Tennis will be hosting two open free tournaments for members on Saturday 21 February. These are open opportunities for St Ann’s Tennis members to enjoy tennis competition, and they are aimed new members interested in playing for our teams next summer. St Ann’s has five teams competing in the Parks League next summer, including two in Division 1, one in Division 2, and two in Division 3. This represents a tough challenge for all our players, and we will require a large and focused squad of registered tennis players. Team St Ann’s charges a season sub of £30.
