Here are details of forthcoming LTA tournaments in October and November.

These tournaments will be hosted by St Ann’s Tennis head coach Jimmy Smith, who is a qualified LTA match referee. Please note that two of these tournaments will take place at St Ann’s Tennis and two at University of Brighton tennis courts, in Falmer (20mins drive).

All these tournaments are ranked Grade 5, which means they suit good club players. The LTA definition of Grade 5 is as follows:

• If you’re a club, local or county player looking to compete in your first rankings tournament – these are the competitions for you.
• These events take place over half a day at clubs, parks and schools in your local area.
• You’ll get plenty of opportunities to practice your skills – junior and adult players will play a minimum of two matches, while LTA Youth Compete events including even more.
• All results will count towards your ITF World Tennis Number and you will get a ranking from playing in these competitions.
