Congratulations to St Ann’s Tennis member Robin Ajder on winning the Men’s Plate Singles Final at the Parks Cup Finals on Saturday.
Robin fought out a tough three set battle with Sean Mahon (Queens), eventually prevailing 7-6, 6-7, 6-0. This epic toussle was widely considered the Match Of The Day.
Elsewhere, Monica Crosa and Andrew Woolston made it to the final of the Mixed Doubles event, losing out to our old friends Mo Jones and Jo Marlow from Dyke. Mo played for St Ann’s in 2021, and Jo (daughter of Team St Ann’s Cazzie) has joined us for several tournaments over the years. Many congratulations to them.
