We are pleased to introduce Joss Albert as the new Welfare Officer for St Ann’s Tennis.
Joss joined St Ann’s Tennis in 2020, and has been a valuable member of the team for the last two seasons. He also works as a Designated Safeguarding Officer and is a qualified social worker, making him a great candidate for the role.
According to the LTA: “The Welfare Officer is responsible for promoting safeguarding within their venue and working with others to ensure a safe and inclusive environment is achieved,” according to the LTA. See full duties [here].
“I have been so impressed with the growth of the club over the past few years, and it has been so good for my physical and mental health. It is a pleasure to be able to give something back to it”, says Joss
“I am very happy to hand over Welfare Officer duties to Joss,” says Conrad Brunner. “Given his profession and his experience as a social worker, he is supremely well qualified for this position. This is a volunteer role, and we appreciate Joss helping out to serve the club and its members.”
