Claire Anderson (see photo) is the new Club Secretary of St Ann’s Tennis.
Claire has a long history of volunteer work in community tennis in Brighton and Hove and has lived just round the corner from the courts at St Ann’s Wells Gardens for 35 years. Her parents were Parks League players and she started her tennis life on the St Ann’s Wells courts in a carrycot aged two weeks.
She is an experienced tournament and competition organiser and ran the Parks Cup tennis competition on behalf of BHPLTA for many years.
Claire was Club Secretary at Dyke Park Tennis for almost a decade, helping that club to become one of the best run and most popular parks clubs in the city.
‘Claire is an important and valued member of our team’ said Conrad Brunner. ‘She has enormous knowledge and love of parks tennis and has been a stalwart of the local tennis community in our city for many years. We are lucky to have her on board.’
